Dion is a writer from New Orleans. His debut novel is Fallen Levee:A Hurricane Katrina Survival Story, a fictional account of what took place in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. From the back seat of his old pick-up truck in deserted woods near New Orleans during the storm he penned the novel. After five years of trying to rebuild his life after Katrina and correct personal mistakes he made, he returns with his autobiography, Victim of Circumstances. This time he opens his past to his readers to encourage and inspire young adults to endure through their struggles. Dion is presently living in New Orleans shopping a script to his debut novel and doing speaking events at Community programs in Southern Louisiana.
