Jan Ruijgrok was born in 1944 in Zuilen near Utrecht. After his (not completed) math and physics study he start in ICT in the pioneer phase and remained in that profession until his retirement. Lately in a director position at Interpolis Insurances. Next to his profession he still is active in various networks and in particular in microinsurance projects in development countries and in the new working environment. On these platforms Jan Ruijgrok is involved in the huge changes that are presently taking place. That’s why he decided to write down all the impressions, ideas and thoughts that are passing by and also placing them in retrospective to his own life. It inspired him to produce this “kaleidoscope” of his observations, thoughts ,reflexions and experiences.
