Kenneth G. Carlson, the youngest son of Gunnar and May, graduated from West Point in 1966, the Wilson School at Princeton in 1972 and served 26 years on active duty in the U.S. Army. An Armor Officer and operational planner, his final military assignment was Professor of Strategy at the National War College in Washington. Upon retirement in 1992, he worked as an investment professional on Wall Street, and in London and Philadelphia. He has authored aricles in Military Review and Vietnam Magazine. He and his wife, Victoria, have been married for 42 years and have four children and twelve grandchildren. They live in Northern Virginia.
