Keith Bajura

A native of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Keith Bajura received his B.F.A. in music composition from Carnegie Mellon University. His teachers have included Roland Leich, Leonardo Balada, Lucas Foss, George Tsontakis, Nancy Galbraith and Marilyn Taft Thomas. Professional orchestras as well as high school orchestras have performed his music locally. His two latest compositions Hieroglyphs for Orchestra and An Evening in Transylvania were specifically commissioned and premiered by the Bethel Park and McKeesport High School Orchestras respectively with much acclaim. At Carnegie Mellon University, he has taught several music technology courses covering such topics ranging from music sequencing to digital sound production and manipulation and, of course, Finale. He has done work as a professional music copyist using Finale for the Pittsburgh Symphony, Pittsburgh Opera, Pittsburgh Ballet, and the River City Brass Band as well as several composers around the world.
