This series, created by Youmna Jazzar Medlej and co-authored by Joumana Medlej, started in 2004 and quickly grew to fill a much-needed but neglected niche: quality books about Lebanon for younger (and older!) readers, both carefully researched and attractively illustrated. Each volume is packed with information, to a degree often never found in other publications for the general public. They are also checked and corrected by authorities on their respective subject. However, they retain a simple language and detailed illustrations elucidating every part of the text, making them accessible to children and ideal for visitors wanting a little more insight on what they've seen, visited and tasted during their stay.
