À propos de
Marina Brierley
A daughter and grandchild of the brave men and women who fled Stalin’s tyranny at great risk for their lives, Marina is a first generation Australian, of Russian heritage and for many years, British by choice. A lifelong passionate advocate of liberty – the prerequisite for human development - she has devoted much of her life to the study - and teaching - of history and humanities generally, observing human progress across 50+ countries. A keen traveller among diverse cultures, her background, experiences and personal research unite to form a coherent Classical Liberal philosophy of free choice, personal responsibility and individual rights. Committed to these ideals for all human beings, she now focuses on trying to help people in developing economies, particularly in Africa, whose need for freedom is greatest.
