Minda Powers-Douglas is an author and lecturer on historical cemeteries and gravestone symbolism. She is also the owner and tour guide for QC Haunts & History Ghost Tours. Learn more at qchaunts.com. Her most recent work is "You Better Watch Out! - A Krampus Tale," which was released in December 2025, just in time for the Christmas season. She is the author of "Translating Tombstones," "Life in Parts," and was the editor of Epitaphs Magazine (all available on Lulu). She also wrote "Cemetery Walk" and "Images of America: Chippiannock Cemetery." Minda received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Theatre from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She is a native of Moline, Illinois.
