Daniel Williams, MD

Dr. Daniel Williams, MD is board certified in General Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. Dr. Williams attended medical school at The University of Texas-McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas and completed his psychiatric residency at Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, Texas. In addition, he trained in posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) at the Central Texas Veteran’s Health Administration and continued his education in cognitive processing therapy, Emotion Code, Emotional Freedom Tapping Technique, meditation, nutrition, and fitness. Since 2011, Dr. Williams has been busy serving patients and learning his craft. He has served on the Board of Trustees for the Texas Medical Association and co-founded Project Healing Heroes, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that assists veterans with PTSD. He has numerous research projects, presentations, peer-reviewed publications, and self-published books to his credit. He has created, and served as medical director for, inpatient and outpatient intensive PTSD programs in Texas and Colorado. MAJ Daniel Williams, MD deployed to Kuwait in 2020 and the Texas-Mexico Border in 2022. He holds active medical licenses in Missouri, Arkansas, Texas and Colorado. In his spare time, he enjoys multiple forms of fitness and song-writing.
