I am a retired computer science academic and have lived in South Africa, the USA (briefly) and Australia (less briefly). I am interested in social and economic justice, science, environment and education. In Australia, I was in Green politics; in South Africa, grassroots community politics. I write fiction with a science or social justice theme. I also publish the occasional academic book though most of my academic work is published via peer review (journals and conference).
