RA PRESS was founded in 2000 as a literary cooperative for writers in the Adirondack Region of Upstate New York as well as writers in Vermont, taking in the entire Champlain Valley. Since that time no less than 35 writers have been a part of this effort, encompassing everything from Adirondack - based poetry, fiction and essay to the very cool Neo-Beat Poetry Movement in Burlington to expanding International writings of fiction and memoir and the surrealist magazine L'AMOUR FOU. During these years Ra Press moved its original offices from Ticonderoga, NY to South Burlington, VT where it continues to reside.
