We produce masters for education, evangelism, and short run printing. About our Library Reproductions [Academic facsimiles]. 19th-Century book covers were often just black fabric with screen-printed text, which is now worn away. At times it was only an embossed pattern. When there is no usable original book cover, we use the title page imposed on fabric, or in special cases, custom cover artwork. Book covers then, might be subjective, but the interiors are not. Every title has a unique identifier as a library reproduction of original title and plates, verified by a quality management process. These books are direct replacements for an (often expensive) original, and therefore suitable for scholarly use. Our interiors, in most cases, use the ancient book design method uncovered by Van de Graaf, sometimes called the "secret canon". As Tschichold, the German typographer stated, "Though largely forgotten today, methods and rules upon which it is impossible to improve have been developed for centuries. To produce perfect books these rules have to be brought to life and applied." This is our goal. To produce perfect books. We believe you'll be pleased by the effort we put into our book design.
