Richard Block is Senior Rabbi of The Temple - Tifereth Israel in Cleveland, Ohio and Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation Beth Am, Los Altos Hills, CA. He and his wife, Susie, who have been married since 1969, are blessed with two wonderful sons, Josh and Zach, two terrific daughters-in-law, Kim and Rachel, and four delicious grandchildren, Jordan, Solomon, Jack, and Walter. In 2008, Newsweek listed him among "America's Top 25 Pulpit Rabbis." He is the recipient of numerous awards for community leadership and is the author of numerous publications.
