S.A. Lankford, a native of Metro Atlanta, grew up in a bustling household with both of her parents, two brothers, and three sisters. She is a dedicated professional in higher education, and her life outside work is spent with her loving husband and son. S.A. has been captivated by the art of storytelling since fourth grade. Her mind was always brimming with imaginative tales, and she found her stride when given assignments that allowed her to weave her stories with words. When S.A. went to college, she minored in creative writing, reigniting her joy of writing. In college she wrote many short stories and was encouraged by her writing professors to continue writing. After taking a break from writing, she started back with her first published book, Everything Isn't Black and White. After a ten-year hiatus from writing, S.A. signed up for a writing course that again spawned her love for writing. With much encouragement and support from her writing teacher and peers, S.A. is back with a brand new book, reclaiming her love for writing. S.A. has rekindled her love for writing and plans to continue sharing her love of storytelling.
