À propos de
Simon Donnelly
Simon Donnelly grew up on the edge of Kelsall, trained as a chemist, and once worked at a mineral works beside the River Weaver in Winsford. This taught him that most of the universe runs on salt, tea and somebody saying "that'll do". He now lives in Sandbach, where he writes comic novels, mostly early in the morning and mostly set in Cheshire. In them, a retired driving instructor in Frodsham takes in a collie from considerably further away than Runcorn. A secret intelligence station operates from a bee rescue van in a field outside Sandbach. A Winsford baker's pies start whispering back. And somebody, at last, reads the terms and conditions of everything. His books go out as free weekly podcasts first, then as paperbacks, which are printed the moment you order one, like a good chip shop. He is not the footballer Simon Donnelly. That Simon Donnelly is considerably better at football. This one is better at pies. Chapter One of every book is free at simondonnellybooks.co.uk.
