STACY BREWSTER is a writer, freelance copyeditor and writing workshop facilitator. His latest short story “Hiccup’s Bluff” appears in the Fall 2010 issue of Rougarou, an online literary journal. He has copyedited for all types of media, including television, advertising, and publishing, most recently for The Portland Review and Bitch magazine. Over the last several years, he has facilitated 10-week writing workshops for Write Around Portland, a non-profit that provides workshops at no charge for people living with HIV/AIDS, survivors of domestic violence, adults and youth in addiction recovery, low income seniors, people in prison, homeless youth and others who may not have access to writing in community because of income, isolation or other barriers. Stacy works as a public advocate and is currently at work on a novel. He lives in Portland, Oregon, with his husband Jon and their dog Buddy.
