After serving in the US Marine Corps for 10 years, I joined IBM as a Customer Engineer. I held several positions within IBM and eventually retired in 1991. I pursued various interests and took up writing. I am married to Helen for 50+ years and we have three children and 6 Grandchildren. The picture below is of myself when I first saw the Scroll of the Seated Samurai. My research lead me to discover the name of the samurai and what he was, most likely, doing. His chapter is the 'Seated Samurai' in, "A Book of Five Swords and a Scroll". "A Book of Five Swords and a Scroll" could be considered a basic 'primer' for those that have a leaning toward Japanese Swords, their fabrication, history, and their care and cleaning. The book "Wake And Reunion" is about the Battle for Wake Island December 8- 23, 1941. And some of the men and their valor during that epic struggle.
