À propos de
William B. Richardson's Books
I am a senior citizen, more than 75 yrs old. I have done a lot of hiking and exploring by road, and I have made many photos to record where I went and what I saw. It was about 1980 when I got interested in hiking and exploring wooded lands with interesting topography--cliff-lined hollows with rocky creeks running down through them. I lived in western Kentucky then. In latter 1994, I moved to the Somerset, KY region, where there is Daniel Boone National Forest. I started hiking and exploring that region when I had time. I eventually bought a Jeep and did some exploring by road, sometimes with a friend and his 4x4. I made a new friend who liked caves, and we went to several caves. I met a woman who liked the outdoors, and before long, we got married and went hiking at times, over the years, until she could not do that anymore. We drove country roads too, exploring by road. Later, a guy who likes caves and hiking contacted me. Over several years, he and I did a lot of hiking in the Somerset, KY region, and I made many photos. In 2021 I decided to start making books. They were to be guidebooks with many photos. I included topo map sections with directions, and photos showing where I went and what I saw. Lots of photos. I have already made six books in a series about all that, and I might make another one. There are old RR tunnels in this region, and I went to see them and make photos. I made a book about that too. I just finished a cave book.
