Gabrielle is fifteen years old, European and stuck in a foster home in America. Her mother is dead and her mother's psychotic boyfriend is on the loose, trying to kill her. Complications abound while Gabrielle tries to deal with her circumstances and live a normal life as well, with the head cheerleader at her new school following her around like a lost puppy. It's about life... love... time.
