There are: newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, 2-4 years and 4-6 years sizes included. You will need up to 30 grams (for newborn size) / up to 90 grams (for the largest size) of yarn in the main color and a very, very small amount of yarn in contrast color. The hat is knit flat. You will need: DK yarn, needles to obtain the gauge (this pattern's gauge is 21 stitches in 4 inches / 10 centimeters in stockinette stitch), darning needles to weave in the yarn ends and sew the back of the hat, 4mm / G crochet hook if you are making crochet ties.
