OH MY GOD

OH MY GOD is the story of Satya, a peasant boy who educates himself against social traditions. He runs away to Mumbai to avoid the Thakur’s opposition. After graduating he goes back to his village to settle old accounts. The Thakur, with the help of his henchman Bhai, eliminates Satya. Dadu gives up his son for dead though his body is never found. Ten years later, a beggar appears at Dadu’s doorstep in whom Savitri recognises her husband. But he is insane. After treatment,his memory returns, but also arise some superlative traits. Satya holds the key of life in his hand. He returns to his village to confront the Thakur. Satya demands the reinstatement of the farmland to the tiller. The Thakur loses his son in battle. His henchman Bhai takes over the job of scuttling Satya’s plans.How Satya brings the culprit to book is the essence of the story. Also discussed is a solution to the vexed Ram Janmabhoomi- Babri masjid tangle.
