When the MLB collapses from the excessive greed of owners and players, an upstart league--the Planetary Extreme Baseball Alliance--fills the void with new teams in new cities across the entire globe. MAD FOR BASEBALL takes us on a comic romp through the crazy behaviors of baseball owners, managers, players and fans in the new league. The story focuses on the trials and tribulations of the Yuma Bulldozers, whose General Manager has committed himself to a mental hospital, a world as crazy as the baseball world the GM needed to escape. Can he manage the team from inside the mad house? Can the Yuma ball club survive without him? And when a suspicious millionaire buys the team, after decades of losing seasons, will his plans include the GM? Or will the game of baseball self-destruct?
