When Jake found out that Crystal had returned home, he was elated and nervous at the same time. He and Crystal had been childhood friends until Crystal left the country because of a fight with him. Jake had never understood why he was intent on watching out for Crystal. When she left, he felt lost. Crystal returned home after leaving the country for many years.
