The beaches of San Diego are more than just a place to relax; they are full of life and hidden details that go unnoticed. To fully having a true understanding of them, we need to slow ourselves down and look closely of what is around us. This book explores the effects of human activity, biodiversity, and the many organisms that live on our shores. Its purpose is to show people that see the beach as a living habitat, not as a beautiful view. By being more attentive, we can learn to protect and appreciate these environments before they are gone.
