Wind Power Fraud

Why Wind Won't Work exposes the collosal waste of money and resources associated with this unsustainable alternative energy. Wind power turbines on average only produce 20%% of their nameplate rating. When they are not operating, they still consume electricity, which usually is not metered. Care to guess who is paying for this unmetered electricity? Wind power will not reduce CO2 emissions, or our dependence on foreign oil imports, and cannot replace fossil-fueled power plants to any noticeable degree. Wind turbines are not environmentally friendly. They are noisy, unsightly, kill bats and birds, interfere with radars, and have been shown to be responsible for a slew of health problems. The design, installation and operation of wind power facilities consume more than 3 times the energy they will ever produce. The biggest winners in wind power will be developers, land owners, banks, brokerage houses, and manufacturers. The big losers will be taxpayers and electric bill payers.
