THE DRESSES

okay. Here is an explanation in as few words as possible: Debbie happened to acquire over 500 1970's and 80's prom dresses from Steiner's Formal Wear in Plainfield, Il. when the shop went out of business in 2004. Steiners had never gotten rid of an unbought dress. ever. Debbie donated about 300 dresses to the high school drama clubs, and kept about 300 to kickstart her long overdue dress collection. The dresses have been stored in a basement, and recently they needed to be relocated to clear up some rental space. So obviously the only solution was to take a picture of each dress, box it up, and create a dress cataloging system. This book is the catalog.
