Deborah Ghimpson

Monologue with one character. A fifty-two years old woman from Southern Ireland. She was born in Cork and she is the most anti-nationalist person in the United Kingdom. Her father is the owner of a bookstore chain, her mother a very rich professor at the Oxford University. From her first years at school she was always the top of the class. She did not like music, but preffered fashion instead. She finished middle school when she was fourteen - because she was a year ahead - and took her highschool diploma at seventeen. She decided to continue her studies and took a degree in foreign economy. Fed up with her past, she left UK looking for something more "modern". Now she is fifty-two and she preffers to stay on her own, BUT...
