This book contains the usual mix of material. The shorter of the two annotated matches it contains is unique in pitting a 1990 computer backgammon program against an amateur human opponent. A section at the end pays special attention to tournament rules and procedures, including a complete set of tournament rules upon which no significant improvement has been made in more than a decade-and-a-half since their formulation.
