Chuck Polanski is an alcoholic – and an aspiring writer. He is also a huge fan of a fellow alcoholic and aspiring writer, Charles Bukowski, whose legacy is one of epic proportions, at least within his own community, that being fellow lost souls in search of something they will never find – at least while they are still alive, anyway. Chuck knows the odds all too well, but is determined, hell or high water, to join the ranks of those lost souls, if for no other reason than to become a legend in his own mind. But, the ghosts in his head may have other plans for him. Today, Chuck will begin a terrifying, hell-raising journey into his past – and his future – and what he finds at the end of his journey may not be what he'd hoped for.
