A love story set in 1905. Sophie Martin suffered a brutal attack, when she was just twelve yearsold. Now, five years later she is still deeply affected by it as are her family, who are fiercely protected of her. When Sophie finds love, her family are against it. Sophie discovers that the Knights and the Martins share a secret, one that threatens to shatter their children's lives.
