Emily was always the odd one out. There are many myths about her, the strong-willed but weak girl from the rural moors of Haworth. Although she grew up in isolation, her life was full of imagination and writing and reading. However, what had really inspired Emily Bronte to write Wuthering Heights, one of the most beloved classics of all times? Perhaps she was not so isolated after all... Perhaps she had a beloved whom she could not forget until her death, just as Catherine and Heathcliff felt about each other.
