Camel Cavalry

“‘F’ Troop” meets Lawrence of Arabia in Camel Cavalry: historical fiction, love story, and action-packed western all rolled into one. Everything is normal for ‘G’ squad of the United States Cavalry—monotonous— but that’s the way they like it. Attached to the infantry company stationed at Fort Lancaster in the Sovereign State of Texas, their job is to patrol the post road between Camp Verde and El Paso. They look forward to the next supply train because not only does it have grain for McCaskey’s still, but also the new mounts they sorely need. When they ride out to meet the supply train to escort it through Comanche country, they don’t see new horses, only weird beasts of burden—camels. Could it be ‘G’ Squad is looking at their new mounts?
