the METALMAN PROJECT volume 1

the METALMAN character was created back in 198X when dopepope was in the 5th grade. upon re-discovery of the work in the 22nd century, the decision was made to expand upon the original concept. the METALMAN logo and helmet were re-drawn and sent out to a long list of artists from a variety of mediums. each was asked to create something using the provided elements in any way they chose and send the results back for review. within the pages of this book you will find a sampling of the work submitted for the first round. however www.metalmanproject.com will continue to showcase new works as they come in. so be sure to check back often, as many new artists are invited to contribute their unique spin on the METALMAN project.
