Throughout history, there have been great works of literature that humanity has labeled as 'the classics.' These were attempts by the average human to make themselves known to the world on paper. They made the bold and wondrous choice to plaster their souls onto a page as if they were flaying their own flesh, and bloodletting into the inkwell. But why are they great, really? What exactly is it that separates these writers, these language artists, from the rest of humanity? Absolutely nothing.
