Beach Hoppers

Do you notice what’s around you, how different organisms think, and why they act the way they act? As Juniors at High Tech High, we were tasked with taking these essential questions and applying them to field work. We’ve learned how to think from another animal’s perspective and how what we do affects all life on earth. We’ve deep-dived into crashing waves, salty air, and the beaming sun to really understand the way life works around us. All while photographing our journey through the beaches of San Diego, identifying unique and native organisms to the West Coast.
