The people of Cyrene live in constant fear of the evils that roam their streets under the cover of darkness. Even those who live in privilege are not safe, Metik the Maniac made sure of this. Of course, like all evil men Metik eventually fell. That should have been his end, but it wasn’t. Metik attracted the attention of a rogue god who thought very highly of Metik. He rescued the cursed man’s soul before it could be lost to the ether of oblivion. He granted Metik unholy gifts and sent him back to the world who cast him out with a single goal. To sow fear and chaos by sustaining himself on the one thing Metik hates the most, life. It falls to a victim an elderly priestess and a warrior to finally defeat this abomination before it devours everyone and everything.
