A Short Circuit

To have so much of the collected work of George Vance under one cover is a real treat. I've been reading Vance's poetry for almost two decades. His word fugues and constructs are smart, witty, full of graceful aperçus, and challenging. Read them once, read them twice--never the same river. (J.
