This book contains chestnut recipes gathered from a variety of sources including newspapers, magazines, internet, and the trial-and-error-taste-test method in the Green Valley Chestnut Ranch® kitchen. Whenever possible credit is given to recipe originators. Chestnut history, information, facts, and photos are also compiled from a variety of sources. The Green Valley Chestnut Ranch® grows fresh Colossal Variety chestnuts. The ranch also imports specialty chestnut products from Italy, France, and China.
