This historical novel describes the creation of one of the most important inventions of mankind - Money. Events take place in the Middle East and Asia Minor in the 6th century BC. The heroes of the book live and act in such ancient countries as Babylonia, Median Empire, Lydia and Greece. Together with the hero of the book, a merchant from Damascus, the reader will go through the path of an inventor from analyzing a problem and giving birth to an idea, to creating technologies and implementing a project at the government level. On this way the hero will meet dangerous adventures, brave friends and insidious enemies, despair and inspiration. Over 40 illustrations, examples from the history of wars, ancient mathematics and trade, the names of famous kings and historical events complete the epoch context.
