The Twenty-Third Indian Division - Burma-Malaya-Java

Despite lacking a punchy title like others in the series, 23rd Indian Division's short history is a useful partner to their 'proper' one: Doulton's 'The Fighting Cock'. Recognising that a picture speaks a thousand words, there are many sketch maps that illustrate units' locations and movements far better than any wall of text. It even boasts more photos than its bigger, younger brother; albeit many are small, halftoned portraits. This title is a near-facsimile of the original pamphlet with some pages rearranged to better suit a book format.
