Teach English the Visual Way

Teach English the Visual Way is aimed at students majoring in English Education at universities in South Korea. Please accept this invitation to discuss visual teaching materials and methods, ranging from the secrets of using PowerPoint interactively for communicative language teaching to the uses of realia, picture books, comics and graphic novels. Given the scarcity of stimulating, down-to-earth books on the uses of visual materials specifically for language teaching, we hope that this guide will serve as a helpful reference for tutors developing innovative courses on visual teaching methods. It is based on lessons offered in the English Education Department at Chonnam National University, Gwangju, South Korea.
