This is a collection of over 100 writings compiled during my own teenage years, mostly from 1969 and 1970. Fifty years later, I'm publishing these writings. Jim has been spending his time developing ideas, not only for the book, but also for his life as he himself nears retirement age. He's adopted a do-it-yourself approach to life, taking various courses along the way and learning all he can to become more self-sufficient. He appreciates a more simplistic back-to-basics life style and has a wealth of hobbies which enable him to live what he writes about in his book. "I do plan to retire", he says, "but I don't plan to ever stop working." A transplant from Buffalo, New York, he now lives in Fort Myers, Florida. He shares his life with the remarkable Miss Jane in a nearly-completed fixer-upper they restored together.
