Flowers in Winter

The first in a series of spiritual reflections by the author on his life journey, this book begins in the moments of the author's accompaniment of his mother during her last months of life in 2008. It contains 150 chronological reflections that guide the author over 2 years as the passing of his mother leads to a mysterious new relationship in faith with a small rural village in Ecuador. By the end of the book, he's about to enter a seminary that prepares for the Catholic priesthood, to find out if that's the path that will take him to Ecuador.
