Devotionals are a dime a dozen, but not this kind. So what sets this book apart? First of all, its written for the regular guy. You know…real men. If you’re looking for a book with pretty poems or flowery stories, go ahead and place this one back on the shelf. This book was written for warriors and adventurist. It is also not designed for the super-spiritual or the really religious. This one’s for the man who’s ready to get real with God and himself. King David's life is the perfect backdrop for a men's study because his life included battles, women, failures, family drama and extreme courage. If you're not sure what I mean just imagine the television show 24 taking place in the ancient Middle East. Are you up for the challenge?
