If the domain of a book can generally be thought of as what can be, a book’s words – as variously, at least, semi-dependent “independent” variables, depend on Reader “reading” meanings made per the words “making” it, then the definitions of words and how the words mean them come to define, in aggregate, what reading means by whatever means. If words’ valences are changeable, same as if pressure differences drive words, then words’ sidles and clashes and splices and dissolves must drive changeable interactions with the windy world. Even superficial attention to a page’s surface tension, far less any drilling down, might inform through physical, in- and out-of-character(s’) deformations, learning new dance steps toward talking new walks.
