The pharmacy industry in the US has been the most profitable industry in the world. Even in 2000, when most American industries were in a downturn, pharmacy companies still made profits. Their average profit margins were around 14% of sales, while other industries had to make do with a 4-5% profit. This book looks at how business has overtaken all humanitarian considerations and is intended to provoke into thinking about how best things can be remedied and what choices there are.
