Am I an Animal? is a collection of poems, Reflections and interludes written between June 2023 and June 2024. Writing these poems, interludes, ruminations, absurdities and meditations...usually at the end of the night while fighting sleep...has become a cathartic process...a way for me to process, document and reflect on parenting, marriage, aging...and life in general. Life as a parent, teacher, writer, partner, friend, son, brother, dog-walker, educational coordinator, grocery shopper, landscaper, driver, reader, musician, thinker, feeler, basketball lover, game partner, and Red Sox and Celtics fan...balancing that life ain't easy.
