Hats Off

Hats Off is a collaborative classroom, project-based learning opportunity between students at E.E. Smith Middle School (EES) and Charity Middle School (CMS). Students at both schools entered into a consensual agreement to publish and showcase both literary and artistic works. Students participating from EES agreed to write original short stories based on a randomly selected, very unique hat. Participating EES students submitted their literary compositions to CMS art students for illustration. The art students agreed to illustrate the provided compositions based upon their analysis of the stories.
