Let The Rain Pour

Jessie is seventeen and going into her junior year of high school, but Jessie is not like the other girls at her school; Jessie is a drummer. In fact, Jessie is one of only two girl drummers at her school, the other being Dani, Jessie's best friend. Every year, Jessie has had a drummer boyfriend and this year looks to be no different as things heat up between her and her section leader. As band camp starts up again for the summer, Jessie is reunited with her drummer friends and drummer enemy. Things only get more complicated when a new drummer, a fellow junior, joins the drumline. As all this goes on, Dani's seventeenth birthday is fast approaching and Jessie is planning something special. But a lot more than anyone had expected is going to happen on Dani's birthday. Follow along as Jessie struggles with grudges, romance, sectrets, crushes, lies, boys, and her past. It will be a summer that the drummers will never forget but all the drumline can do is sit back and let the rain pour.
