More Than Enough

More Than Enough is the story of how God taught Makayla Anderson about His all-satisfying steadfast love through uncanny means. When years of severe digestive health issues brought her face to face with aching, weakness, and hunger, she began writing poetry and taping it to the walls of her room so she would have something on which to focus while lying in pain. As He caused her to find much needed nourishment through His Word, God forged within her a passion to pray for the persecuted church, inspiring prolific writing to encourage suffering Christians. More Than Enough contains a sample of those writings and shares how, even from the unlikely setting of rural northern Canada, God connected Makayla to missionaries in restricted access nations, an Iranian Bible smuggler who had been freed from Isis imprisonment, and modern hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty. More than Enough demonstrates how God used suffering to magnify His all-sufficient power, goodness, and glory through the story of a young woman who learned that, in all circumstances, beyond the shadow of a doubt, Jesus is always more than enough.
