When twelve-year-old Milo Teekasingh moved to his new residence in Stanleytown, he quickly made friends with Binky, Ali, Rudy, Whitey, Froggy, Yankee, Dagwood and Frankie down the street. The new school year saw him attending his new high school where he met classmates Inky, Bernie and Elvis, along with Snook who liked nothing better than to get him in trouble with their teacher Gadfly who was an expert with the wildcane.
